Thanks. It is amazingly good for the money. And the blue strap from TSS gives it a nice summery look. I am making the most of it as it is sunny here for a change. :sun: I have sold off most of my Parnis watches apart from a couple. Not because I did not like them or they were not good. Just the Pam style is a bit big I found. This one is about the same size as a C9.

Very nice Club Datum, love the orange strap for a sporty touch. I just received the Nomos catalogue in the mail yesterday... pretty impressed with their service and story. Saving up for one myself, but not sure which one.

They are all winners. If you can get somewhere to try them on it may change your mind. I wanted an Orion for many months, then almost went off on a tangent for the club (see what I did there :P) and after trying them on knew id made the right choice for me.

Squale for most of the day today. There was a hairy moment when my 2-year-old inadvertently smashed her scooter helmet on to it, but it was only a couple of scratches to the polished bezel (not the insert thankfully), which have already been removed with Cape Cod. Phew :D

Then flipped to the Orient Mako Ray for evening cooking duties. Italian sausage and bean stew, with mash and spring greens, since you ask

Weird, I've been looking at this one for a couple of weeks.

I think most people probably want a Portuguese, and I like the C9 too, but for me too close a 'homage' to pay £900 for.

My worry with the Parnis is that it turns up and is cheap crap? Maybe you could provide some more info?

At £56 though ill almost definitely take a punt.

Got my old(ish) Seiko back from seeing if the damaged glass can be replaced. With a recommended overhaul, it will cost more than its worth.

Will keep it as a beater or may donate to my favoured charity shop and buy a replacement.
