Better than my day. Drive from my house (near CWL) to the Isle of Dogs, hang around for an hour whilst the customer looked for the machine electrical drawings (20 Year old machine) Told him what it might be, he wanted part numbers, I wanted elec drawings
Then he wanted to know if I was sure what the problem was, so I said I was making a best guess with out the drawings.

This turned in to a bit of a rant!! Wrong thread. :silent:

Glad you had a good day Scooter, catch up soon mate.

A great read and story there scooter, a thoughtful to end my work day. Can't help but feel for F/Lt Mackay and the weight he must have shouldered.

Thanks scooter!

An enjoyable but sad read Scooter, may you have many more enjoyable "bimbles" this year.

Thanks Scooter, educational and great day you had ( also thank you for the brief Canadian content :)). I am going to use Bimble in a sentence at some point today!

Fascinating post. I always feel that tragedies like the ones you mention are especially poignant in that men died like this away from the front lines of the war.

Funny the only time i use the word bimble is when scuba diving!

My Bimbles tend to be about 20-30m (65-100 feet) below the surface!
Watches - Too many but not enough!
