Tritium Replacement
As the C600 Tri-Tech Elite is being phased out, is there going to be a new CW with tritium 'tubes' ?

Re: Tritium Replacement
There was an earlier thread on this. The bottom line though, is no. I emailed Chris to ask him this very question (I'm partial to tritium, as others on this forum will tell you, as I keep banging on about it) and he told me that the C11 range will probably get the tritium treatment some time in 2014. I think that it's a shame; the lume is quite poor on a lot of the CW range, and I would buy a GTLS C60 like a shot. I don't really like black PVD, which is the only option for the C600.
Traser, Ball, Deep Blue and Luminox all specialise in tritium, so you may want to check them out.

I think this is a mistake, as I love to show off my Anchar which glows away nicely to its self
Let's hope CWL change there minds and come up with something amazing in the near future.

Re: Tritium Replacement
Hopefully something amazing that uses T100 tubes.

Re: Tritium Replacement
Small correction T100 refers to the limit of tritium in the entire watch, not in tubes (over 26 mCi to 100 mCi) . It also doesn't necessarily say anything about brightness.moriarty wrote:Hopefully something amazing that uses T100 tubes.

Re: Tritium Replacement
Thank you for the correction - the whole topic seems a bit of a minefield, with a T100 watch possibly not being as bright as T25 watchCitizen V wrote:Small correction T100 refers to the limit of tritium in the entire watch, not in tubes (over 26 mCi to 100 mCi) . Re: Tritium Replacement
I hadn't read this before. I am glad that I've got one on the way. Actually, it's been delivered to work as of yesterday, I just need to get the office so I can get it in my hot little hands!
[Update] Got to work this AM and there it was, having sat in my desk chair since Saturday. If I'd known it was going to be left like that, I'd have driven into work over the weekend! Still, it was unmolested, as was the 12 watch storage case I purchased from CWL. I'm pleased with both.
