Certainly not stopping! I am planning an upgrade, hopefully to fullframe (Canon 5D). Nikon camera's are also great, a few years ago I chose Canon, and with the lenses I have now, it will never be possible to switch to Nikon.

I was only joking - I thought it might be an upgrade to a full frame one that was tempting you - imagine being able to have bigger pixels to collect more light and not having to calculate focal lengths from the reading on the camera - that's all crazy!

I went from Minolta to Nikon when I went digital - I've only managed to get 2 lenses in 2 years though - but they cover from 18-210 and it's not entry level glass - I would love a prime macro lens though but until I get good enough for it to be useful I think I will spend the money elsewhere.

Good luck with selling your 20D and I hope that you get your 5D soon :D

And another one from The Netherlands (Cothen).

And to add some fuel: a little over a year ago, I ditched the digital Nikon-stuff in favour of a Dynax 7d (Konica-Minolta, sometimes called Konimex in this country). Never looked back since. Color rendition is way better than the Nikon, and shadow detail outdoes both Nikon and Canon. Plus it has a REAL viewfinder rather than a "light at the end of the tunnel".

I may upgrade to a Sonymex once they'll offer a body that compares with the 7D - the Alpha 100 is too flimsy to my tastes, and lacks a few essential features. When Sony decides to go full-frame, I'll be a happy camper.
