christre wrote:My brand new today Seiko Black Monster. Thought about getting one for a while as they're so well liked. I wasnt dissapointed. Its a very well made watch and feels much better quality than the price i paid. Sizing the bracelet was a pain, the collars are SOOOOO small and a problem getting them back into the link holes. I like it so much i may even get its Orange Bro
The Seiko Monsters are bomb proof without doubt but the pin & collar system is a pain.

Thanks Graham,,, very useful link. The worst part of the job is actually picking up the small collars. I even tried with tweezers but with no luck. In the end i think it was pure luck that they went in. Once in i used 2 pens to push from either side, you can hear a loudish clunk when the pin and collars connect. Once sized its one of the most comfortable bracelets ive worn and you're right,,, it feels bomb prooffootycrazy wrote:christre wrote:My brand new today Seiko Black Monster. Another blue strap. A cheap and cheerful Parnis. The perfect antidote to watch snobbery.
