inventive packaging

i wouldn't buy a watch based on this, but it's interesting packaging.

“We believe in what we can see: the maximum transparency of the packaging design shows the absolute confidence we have in our product. That’s why we submit the Festina Profunda to quality control directly at the point of sale: the watch is presented in a transparent bag filled with distilled water. In subjecting it to this visible test of endurance we can convince the customers of the watch’s outstanding quality.” (Advertising Agency: Scholz & Friends)

It looks as though it should be boil in the bag!
Very clever, but actually might put me off...

You wouldn't trust Royal Mail to get that to you in one piece, would you?

Three days a week on the wrist or three minutes on high in the microwave. That packaging would put me off.

Innovative marketing concept. Will be interesting to see how well it works.
