A time for Giving

Post by Dancematt »

Anyone else give a watch as a present?

For the missus - a NOS 1971 gold Roamer (she prefers vintage). I bought her an Ipad so needed some cheap presents to add around it, this was very good value. Came on bracelet but found a nice leather strap that i had to cut to fit, i think it looks quite cool:

For my Mothers gentleman friend - a Roamer military handwind that i've had in my possesion a while, fitted a new mesh strap and contemplated keeping it:

Mrs M already has around 20 watches, both modern and vintage, so had to think of something new this year!! :)

Did the black dial Roamer actually get delivered by Santa then??

I gave my wife a Swiss Army Cavalry watch that was discontinued years ago but she always admired my mans version of it and I got an unused one off eBay. I got my 11 year old daughter a Timex ingiglo with metal bracelet that she wanted.
