Can you read the time at a glance?
How smooth are the pusher mechanics?
Did the thickness meet your expectations?
Many thanks,
Robin
Can you read the time at a glance? Yes, As well as other watches. I wear glasses. It is not the best, and nowhere near the worst to read. Easier to read than the C9 JH.
Thank you. I hope it gives you enormous pleasure.
Robin
How smooth are the pusher mechanics? Beautiful. Feels very, very smooth. The hand wind sounds nice and feels very soft. The sound of the tick is just right, you have to lift the watch to hear it, but nicely balanced.
Did the thickness meet your expectations? I have been lucky enough to have seen and handled a C900 a few times. I would say it feels smaller than a C40, but bigger than a C60. Although side by side with a C40 the sizes are quite similar.
I would say that if you are thinking about buying one of these C900's go ahead. It is an amazing statement by CW of how they think of themselves as a company and the direction they are heading. The C9 JH was to test the water, this is a dive bomb from the top board. The way i looked at it, was, how would i feel in five years time when i looked back and realised i had let the 2013 European watch of the year slip through my fingers. CW are going to keep making these beautiful signature watches. I will keep buying them. This is a master piece in every sense of the word.
P.S. I quite like it.

Wow. The tan strap looks brilliant. Post as many shots as you can over the weekend Helix. I will look at all of them!

Absolutely stunning! If it wasn't so obviously too big for me, I'd be getting one, despite the cost.

Like what you're saying, personally the watch isn't for me, but like where the direction of the company is going....

As a matter of interest I was talking to Wera yesterday and she told me that they are receiving between 15 and 20 a week from Switzerland and they are all already soldHelix Von Smelix wrote:I would say that if you are thinking about buying one of these C900's go ahead. So if you want one, buy it now, you might not get the chance if you wait.
