Bletchley Park

Post by Helix Von Smelix »

Hi all,
I was thinking of going to Bletchley Park on December 3rd.
So if anyone wants to meet up there let me know and we can agree a secret sign :silent: :D
As a warning, i might be wearing a C80 Sector that day. :thumbup:

{Hey Dom, fancy a trip out?}

Good Lord man! On a Monday? That day when we all bounce out of bed after a weekend of drudgery and whistle our way to work for five days of fun and frolics?*

Sorry but no.

Went to Bletchley earlier in the year. Absolutely brilliant.

For those who haven't been before I highly recommend getting in on one the guided tours. I think they are supposed to last about 1.5 hours. Not all parts of the museum are on the guided tour and you are supposed to have enough time to see the bits missed out in your own time. Our guide was brilliant and kept us entertained for almost 5 hours. Didn't have time to see much else of the museum. It wasn't until I was driving home that I realised that I hadn't seen a single enigma machine (they have the largest collection of enigmas in the world). Will definitely be going back someday soon to see the bits I missed.

For those going, have a great day. :thumbup:

Let us know how you get on.
