Nice picture Rick. Are they casemarks just below 4 o'clock and between 7 and 8?

Robin

Yes good picture

I could easily be wrong but looking again i guess the marks Robin refers to could likely be wrist hairs on the case
Some of my watches seem to have case marks on occassion but when i check its a small hair falling over the outer bezel or case

You may be right RichT, I hope so. Bead blasted finish is vulnerable to marking and, in my view, should not be used in watch casing as rectification is almost impossible. I like my watches to remain in perfect condition but my C8 is quite badly marked, hence my sensitivity on this issue!

Hi Robin

Actually you have a good point there about Bead Blasted finishes Seem to recall i had a cheap dive watch way back that became marked and i could never quite get it to look the same again

I am currently awaiting a possible C5 Aviator pending backlog of system restoration at C Ward
I think these are a Satin Brushed finish
I am hoping this kind of surface is ok and if tiny marks appear they can be overcome ? :?

I love this watch.

Do you keep your on the original strap? I do for now but am contemplating a change.

Sad to hear that Flight Lieutenant William Walker died yesterday - the last living pilot that took part in the battle.
