RLT pilot chrono

Post by castle »

Anyone else noticed this?

Handwound Seagull movement 3/6/9 layout retaining hour numerals intact. Reminds me of the more restrained Russian chronos. I actually quite like it.

Too big for my taste, but you can't argue with the value and it looks good. I've never ownded a seagull movement watch but I hear they are reliable.

I like the Archimede Pilot Chrono which is a 42mm piece, but they are a lot more money.

Cheers,
Jack.

Hi

Yes i noticed it looking around the site after buying an old Swiss Sub Dial from RLT (there is an RLT thread i posted a few days ago) I like the watch in your link and a few others on the site
I think its good as it makes a change to see a watch shop offering some more individual styled models

Unusual - most RLTs I am aware of have been far more modestly proportioned. It's a good looking beastie though.

Just a note on RLT watches. If you send him an e-mail he can (And usually does depending on how busy he is) Modify the watch to your specifications. i.e. change the hands, strap etc..... On some of his watches he even does them in a different coloured dial.

His new ones are some of the best he has brought out IMO. He has been pretty quiet for a while but has come back with some very tasty watches. I do like the fact he gives you the choice between unitas or seagull on some of his watches.
