I have wanted to try a GasGasBones strap ever since I first noticed them fitted to Bremont watches. This model is a SPV 2, I am very pleased with it feels comfortable on my wrist and is a nice snug fit with the velcro fastening. They do them in 5 different lengths, this one is a medium and fits my 7.5" wrist just right. Guess you can wear these the other way around, this seemed best to me, a nice alterative to a Nato.

Looks like I should try one. They look like they have the comfort of a NATO but without the metal and looping around. Had a look at the site and my my first choice was to be the C5A but he does not do an 18mm strap.

Strangely, I just did exactly the same about an hour ago thinking of my C5A Mark II.

I'm sure the 20mm strap would "scrunch" down a bit to fit a 18mm, it's only two loops of nylon that hold the watch on.ianblyth wrote:Looks like I should try one. No more Quartz (except when I cannot resist).

Still not my style strap, but it looks like it would be easier to work with and perhaps more comfortable than a Nato.

I have never had a thing for NATO-straps. I'm sure the are comfy, but they just don't look good IMO. The gasgasbones does not have all of those metal buckles, and have a much more "clean" look. Like it

That works very well. Might have to try one of those, as a step towards a full Nato.

I've never considered easing oneself towards wearing a NATO strap. Perhaps it's something that shouldn't be rushed in toredd wrote:That works very well. Might have to try one of those, as a step towards a full Nato.
