You've got to love that blue second hand though...

Nice strap - my new one is a little more on the suede side but I think it will still look good. I've also been eying one of these up:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130672583004? ... 478wt_1397 ("aftermarket") or one of these:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180819193320? ... 030wt_1164 (NOS). For a watch I already own the cost could start mounting up!
Yep a bracelet is certainly on the cards. £80 quid may seem like alot but to look at it another way imagine how much it would cost if omega still made the dynamics!

That is the identical model I have been looking for. The blue sweep hand really makes this dial jump.
Its one of the best variants imo, obivously a bracelet would improve it but there is time for that. I thought about the handwind date (in another colour) but it wasn't really needed on something i'll only get out now and then. Austin kaye have about 7 different variants at present but they are very pricey. the part ex was needed.

Cheers dude! intially it has a shocking look and feels too odd but It grows on you as you wear it. the only vintage watch i've ever really wanted tbh.

Yep not for everyone but i think Omega should bring it back into the modern line up. Modern Omegas are getting a bit dull, they need one watch that doesnt shout serious simon.

These things keep jumping out at me! Took a watch into a local repairer and he has two for sale - very good prices too! I resisted but I have to go back in a couple of weeks. I might be tempted to look closer if he still has them.

Yeah, for all that they do some lovely watches, they cater for those with more money than taste far too often these days.

@ FieryTowse - going back on your description of your own Dynamic, i cannot for the life of me fathom what version you have and i have been studying dynamics for about half a year in preparation for my recent purchase. Should be interesting to see :)

It's nice to generate a little bit of anticipation.

Ho hum. Another week to wait for the Dynamic to be fixed, which is what they told me last week. The watchmaker finally has the new mainspring so hopefully that's an accurate timescale.
