Anyone with suggestions for a good watch service??

Post by GwC67 »

I noticed this morning that the second hand on my C6 is advancing at 4 second intervals. I am assuming it is the battery. I am concerned about taking it to a local jeweller to change the battery in order to maintain the water resistance. I live in Canada and frequently travel to Toronto. Any suggestions there? Does anyone know if CW will do simple battery changes? L.75 for a battery change is a bit steep. Tx, in advance.

I'd give Archer Watches a shout. He's in Ontario, has a website, and seems to be really competent. He's really popular with the folks on the Oris forums.

CWL is a company that does allow for battery changes, while still under warranty, by a qualified service person.

CWL will also change the battery, although I do not know the charge. I am sure a quick email will get that answer.
