Any Brompton owning cyclists

Post by TempusFugit »

I find that interests tend to cluster. As well as being a watch fanatic I'm a bicycle fanatic; and a Brompton folding bike fanatic. Any Brompton owners on here?
Four CWs and too many others to list!
And loads of clocks.
And bicycles.

Nope, but I owned a R&M Birdy until a few months ago - I always said it was like a Brompton for cyclists.

Not yet.
But as a bikaholic I really do need one - at least to have the chance to take part at the world championships. ;)

Well that's a pretty wierd looking one. Some models are a lot racier. Here's a fit looking chap racing one at the 2010 BWC in the rain....

Yes, two. a M6+ and a P6+.
I've had the M6 for over five years now. I originally bought it just for railway journeys but now I use it every day for my cross London commute from Ealing to Bermondsey. Brilliant bikes for London, now that I've got a Freedom pass I don't even have to bother with wet weather gear. Just fold & get on the Tube, but every time I do that it reminds me why I so much prefer to cycle the journey. :D
