Secret pleasures?

Post by xtriple »

Mine is licking the bowl when Lorns been baking cakes. Absolutely love the cake mix and hover and shout at her to leave some in the bowl. Not that keen on cake, but lurve the mixture!

I'll second the pot noodles during a night shift (spicy kimchi for me), but for me it's Kraft Dinner for lunch before heading to work for a night shift.

I have recently re-discovered Cheese & Onion sandwiches. Supermarket medium (or medium/mature - avoid the bland stuff) cheddar and too much onion on white plastic bread. Washed down with any red wine, port or even sherry that happens to be open. Mrs L does not approve and refuses to kiss me afterwards even if I chase her - bliss!

Glad I'm not the only one. But I still think there's something deeply satisfying about scraping all the cake mix from the sides of the bowl, fighting the dog off, and scoffing it with gusto. Even better if she brings the whisk in with it, getting the mix out of all those nooks and crannies is just awesome.

Mayonaise. I don't like potato but eat it so tends to be cover it in mayo. Chips even more so. Fried breakfast with mayo especially if it has black pudding just because it's lush. An ex girlfriend introduced me to that pleasure (and a few others :D )

My mum makes cheese cake with the middle bit made from Philli cheese, icing sugar and dream topping. When she makes it she makes two lots one for me and one with the base and topping for everyone else.
