Boschett

Post by christre »

Hi Everyone,, Just wondering what you all think of Boschett. Ive just bought a secondhand Cave Dweller S. Its a chunky old thing at 44/45mm case size and 16mm high. Mines the ETA movement instead of the Myota thats only available now but have heard new ones to follow will have either the 2 movements, the choice is up to the buyer. Its a year old and mint condition. Expecting delivery next week so pics will follow.
Chris.

A watch 2/3 of an inch thick? I'd have to have my cuffs let out! I must say they do look the part though, from the photos I've seen (not having seen one in the wild) but too chunky for me. Still, each to their own and I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Look forward to seeing some pics when it arrives.

A little overpriced new ( ) but they are nice enough watches. And... I have been wearing mine today, so why not have a pic?!

And they do weigh a tonne. Only my all-tungsten Lüm-Tec beats it!

The CD is indeed a mighty watch, and the bracelet is a work of art. Personally, I found the whole thing just a little tall, and I moved mine on. Having said that, I did consider buying another one recently.

Thanks for the pics Mortis. Mine has the black dial and steel bezel. Im a big watch fan and had my eye on a JSAR but the Boschett came along so snapped it up. Ive heard the bracelets are really nice. My new ones previous owner never used it, he kept it on the rubber so the bracelets as new with the plastic still covering it. Cant wait for it to get here :)

That's really rather girly and effeminate  Like it a lot, would make up for any perceived inadequacy in my manliness

Always fancie grabbing one but knew it would look up right silly on my 6.75 inch wrist so passed on many occasions. I have seen one in the flash on the tube worn by a handsome chap and he felt very uneasy of my staring to his wrist. It's a fab watch n Nice Catch!!
