You'll definitely get pics. Just promise me you'll hold back the chuckles when you see how big it is on my wrist.downer wrote:Great stuff guys. It's not lying, Scooter. It's selective truth telling.scooter wrote:No can do. You wouldn't want us to lie to you, would you?Peteo wrote:You'll definitely get pics. Just promise me you'll hold back the chuckles when you see how big it is on my wrist.

FedEx says I should have it by 3 PM tomorrow! But I'll be at work until 7 PM, which means I won't be able to pick it up till Friday! Gah!!!!

Re: Steinhart Response Time
Got my dispatch email today, 5 working days after placing the order. Not bad tbh.
The only problem is that DPD have it! I have far less faith in them than Steinhart.

Is this for the Marine Chronograph Blue? Are you still in the queue for the Grand Prix LE?redd wrote:Got my dispatch email today, 5 working days after placing the order. Not bad tbh.

Re: Steinhart Response Time
Yes and Yes. Although it might become a no 'if' the Marine is a keeper. An unexpected curve ball from Steinhart that I couldn't resist. I do know that I can't afford both, without selling something.downer wrote:Is this for the Marine Chronograph Blue? Are you still in the queue for the Grand Prix LE?
EDIT - technically I'm not in the queue. I have a confirmed reservation and a small deposit paid.

I like that.
It reminds me slighty of a Bremont Supermarine.
Do we know how big it is?

Re: Steinhart Response Time
I think it is 43mm. It definitely has some Bremont about it, and also a bit of IWC. But overall, I think it is a quite unique design.
