I like it!

Lovely dial colour, hands seem to blend in a bit though. Needs a Nato ;)
I miss all the great things that may never be.

Congratulations on your first automatic, and your first Hamilton, to boot! Lovely watch, and the blending of the seconds track with the minute track is a treat. While I've not been a fan of small seconds watches (other than chronographs, which is another matter altogether), I do like this one. The hands do seem to blend in a bit, but I've noticed that colors in photographs sometimes don't give a true impression of what the watch really looks like in person. It would look good on a Nato strap, I agree.

Very nice, congrats. I like Hamilton. They put some very nice watches together and still manage to keep the retail price within reach.

Stunning IMO, ive not seen this model before but am compelled to investigate further on google! :D
something about the overall simple design and large numbers which gives it a great look.I also really like the back of the case..dont usually pay much attention to it but this has been nicely designed

p.s: the model no. does not on appear on any UK sites, only US.Possibly a new model?

Nice looking watch but I am not a fan of the needle hands.

An honest question should always receive an honest answer. I am not a fan. The truncated numbers, inset date window, small seconds, colour scheme all make it a tad too bland and unfinished for me. I like the fact the rehaut has been populated with the minute and second track but it would have made more sense for this to have been coupled with a centre second hand.

Only my opinion of course and it is more important that you like it! I reckon a C8 would have been a better choice.

Nice pickup leoo. Not my favourite Hamilton, but if it puts a smile on your face that's what matters. Both my Hamiltons get plenty of wrist time. Possibly the best value today from the 'big boys'. Along with Tissot it's the only mainstream brand that compete with CW for VFM. I absolutely love Hamilton straps and buckles. My Khaki Field has a wonderful curved buckle that I wish more companies would emulate.

Watchlover, I agree that Hamilton does some nice case backs, especially in the Aviation series watches. My favourite is this one from the Avation QNE, with the phonetic alphabet on the back:
