Terrific photos Tyke! I hate the snow, but it certainly has a certain beauty.

Rumor is that we might finally get some substantial snow tonight here in the good old US capital. Might actually see old man Winter after all. Only about 6 weeks late!

Not a flake has been seen down here in the south west all winter. In fact, we were out in the car with the roof off in January! However, this morning there was a frost - the first of the season.

First frost XT ! The brass monkeys up here have wrapped their hands around their round bits for the last week to stop them falling off :). It's reet cold and snow forecast for tonight. Roll on Springtime... with all that wind and rain.

Well, it turns out that the rumor was exactly that. Just a rumor. No snow. Just frigid cold coming in later this week. I agree on mild winters, but if we're gonna have cold, give me something to make a good snowball out of!
