The Arrival C60 on Leather (poor pics though)
The Arrival C60 on Leather (poor pics though)
Well the C60 arrived safe and well about 1145HRS yesterday. Must say it is exactly as described which is always a bonus when buying from the bay ie NN condition.
I left posting for a day so as to take the watch in a little and not post rose tinted glass opinions. Unfortunately that has not worked and I am still wearing rose tinted specs because the watch is all that I had hoped for (and that was a lot). Its stunning and I love the leather. Little details such as the trident symbol on the back of the second hand, the red tipped second hand, the wave pattern on the dial, the onion hr marker (l love that), the fit and finish etc truly a very high quality watch.
It has 031 stamped in the back I am assuming this is its serial number? if so does this mean I have a low number version
Anyway sorry for the pics - they are more as proof of purchase than anything else. I will sort some better out ASAP along with my C6.

Pics are OK, Alan - main thing is that the watch looks really good on you. Congratulations!

Well spotted, he is more interested in Mickey Mouse club house, I got the early shift this morning with him while the Mrs gets a sleep in.Amor Vincit Omnia wrote:Pics are OK, Alan - main thing is that the watch looks really good on you. Congratulations!

Got him started already got him his first watch at xmas (only a Gola football watch but he likes it)
I will ensure he is properly educated in the ways of the watchaholic - Gola at 3 years old, Casio at 4, Citizen 5, Seiko 6, he will be on Rolex and PAM before he is 12

Good. Then for his 12th birthday he can flip those and get an Omega or a JLC!ruthwall1 wrote:

Re: The Arrival C60 on Leather (poor pics though)
Pleased for that it arrived safely and that you like it so much!
The C60 seems to have become a very popular CW.
Maybe you could think about picking a bracelet up for it at some point, just so you can change the look around a bit when the mood suits?
It does look good on the leather though.

Ideal number of watches in your collection = current number of watches + 1...

Up all night worrying whether you got it or not
Great looking watch, enjoy it. It's a watch that satisfys most occasions and is such a good looker as well.
By the way Alan, the photographs are total crap. We have a Forum chum called Lamps (lamppo_the_GasFitter) who up until now has been universally acclaimed as the worst photographer on the Forum. I think, (although it might need a poll by The Laird to confirm this) that it is time for him to pass on the mantle.
@ The Laird - only joking!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend

Defo looking to pick up a bracelet, the new prices are a little steep at the mo, so I will be keeping my eye out for a UK based seller and go second hand.Tooks wrote:Pleased for that it arrived safely and that you like it so much!

I am particularly impressed by this photo...
The only thing in focus is the watch. It's dark and, although tired, you are considering your forum mates first and your son second; he can watch the bloody MM club, but you are taking photos of your C60.
Good man!
Keep it up.
