I've always loved the look of that watch. Nice one.

CW wise it would be the C6FLE - great looking, stunning dial and limited to 100 (50 if you take into account the date wheel colours)

NonCW would be my Ebel la Carree. The first decent non quartz. It was a very big purchase and led the way to more

My oldest watch has been with me for (maybe) a whole 6 months now and I've even invested in a Toshi for it, so as close to a keeper as I own is....

I'm actually very pleased with the five I own now and I'm rotating them all every 2-5 days, with none sitting in the watch case unloved.

Oh, man. That IWC is a thing of beauty. The Grail. And that Seiko is very nice, too.
Anyway, the topic... I only have a few decent watches, namely the CWs I've got. I've only had the C600 for less than two weeks but I think it's most definitely a keeper. Love it like crazy. :)

watchlover1 wrote:Like many others on this forum Ive bought various watches over the years only to then sell them on and usually at a much lower price simply because I didnt 'click' with the watch so to speak. At one stage I had 14 watches but in all honesty the only two which I wont sell are my Tag and Oris.Wouldnt hesitate to sell the others though my recent swiss army acquisition is proving to be a reliable wknd watch that can take a few knocks etc

Whats your keeper watch or watches that you would not let go of and why? Im now after another 'keeper' watch but I find that it makes choosing a watch even more difficult.. :(
I'm the opposite. My Tag Carrera is the one I've been thinking about selling, but if I do it will be the first I've sold. Can't see me flipping my C5 Malvern (gift from my wife), my Stowa or my Max Bill.

I quite like the look of the new PO with the 8500 movement but want to see one in the flesh, although if I see a PO LM anywhere I will get it without a second thought.

My only real 'keeper' is my Oceanaut European 7750 Chrono, bought in the days after my mother dying. Too many memories tangled up in that one to ever let it go.

No worries. I found mine in the middle of last year, and was surprised to see one still available a few weeks ago.

The fact is that the introduction of the new 8500 PO must have made it difficult to sell the PO LM with the older 2500 movement, for the same price. :)

My 2500 DeVille packed up last week, and is now away for repair. Otherwise i would have said it was my only definite keeper (not so sure now) :(

Nothing is safe in my box
