Glad you liked the second one. I wasn't very careful taking these photos and I use to be a photographer. They were all hand-held indoors. The shutter speed was slow and I was dealing with annoying reflections. To get the face of any watch to show it's true color and texture; use a black curtain or something very dark and position it in the direction of the reflection off the crystal. You almost have to set up a studio shot to get the wanted effect. There was always something and I kept moving around trying to eliminate it. I'm really not happy with any of these shots. I'll try and get motivated and put together some nice photo sequences.

You know I couldn't leave the other up with the black strap. Temporary anyway, I think. I might have fun taking some studio shots of my watch and if anything looks really super, I'll create another avatar.

Bracelets are not really my thing. some watches look better on straps some do look better on metal (like the C6 fle). This watch is pretty nice and a maybe future purchase. But seeing it on a bracelet it looks almost 100x better. Very good looking time piece, and now higher on my futures list.

Excellent photos Russ. You should put a few of those in the reference gallery.

I was not that impressed with the new C700 initially and while it was OK it was not one that I would buy. However on the new bracelet it looks so much better I may have to consider one now.

Yea, I was thinking that. I've collected a bunch now in Photo Bucket, I could just reuse those but I wasn't very happy with the second set. The were shot in low light and the camera was hand held with low shutter speed.

my only reservation about the new bracelet, has always been "how quickly will it get scratched and marked on the polished areas"

I think thats one that only time will tell.

That said, on my C4 bracelet, i'm fairly sure the brushed sections look worse than the polished ones after a good year of wearing.

It will depend on what you are doing but I have a few bracelets with the centre polished and my Breitling bracelets are 100% polished. To be quite honest they don't get any more scratched than the brushed ones. The brushed ones do hide it better but little swirlies are not that noticeable. The good thing about the polished bit is that it is easy to bring back to "as new" with a Cape Cod and a few minutes work.

I have to say that bracelet looks brilliant on the C700! :)

I have part polished/part brushed bracelets on my Breitling's and it's true that the polished parts will mark up a bit, but as others have said its easy to get them looking spangly again with a bit of masking off and polishing with a cloth and/or compound.

I think an all brushed new style bracelet might suit the C60 better.

It's somthing you accept. I've got a few scratches already but that's to be expected when you wear it 100% of the time and only you seem to know about them most. But scratches can be removed and polished back out. I have a place nearby that can do this.
