Just started a watch fund...
Just started a watch fund...
I just started a watch fund with Schwab, and told myself to deposit 20 a week. But I don't think i can wait that long. Should I just say eff it and buy one to hold me over until the fund is high enough to get another one?
The more i see these pictures, and read what you guys say, the more i want one!

i wear a lot of darker shirts/sweaters/jackets to work. ( Black/grey)
I like a leather strap, but don't know if i should get a darker face, or lighter face to stand out. I can pair shoes to outfits, but not watches... yet. What you suggest as a first piece?

silver face plain C9, possibly the the most elegant watch in the CWL collection, on a black strap to match dark colour shirts . Or C11 for something sportier.

I wear a black uniform at work so tend to wear as bright a dial as possible. But if you are limited to having one or two watches a black or cream would be best. The above suggestions are pretty good depending on the style of watch you want

You might be able to afford a Gold C5 as well (also possibly the the most elegant watch in the CWL collection)...between the two they'd go with anything!highway62 wrote:silver face plain C9, possibly the the most elegant watch in the CWL collection

It is nice & although the other suggestions are equally valid, the reason I proposed this above the others is availability. The rest are non limited stock items so they can be bought at any time. The C50 is number limited, so when they are gone, that's it and they seem to be selling fast, so probably not that many left.
