Chr.Ward website errors

Post by I.I.D »

Kip,

Couple of errors noted for referral to Chr.W

C3 Malverns need an E adding to give them Elan in the main description

C5 Quartz. The description for the C5Q-SWT & C5Q-SWK need the dial description changing from

Precision etched 2-piece dial (because they aren't)
to
whatever they want to call that sunburst effect.

Perhaps we could add the thermo compensated movement claim for the C70 montecarlo, which I think was pointed out as an error back in March '11?

cheers Kip, fwiw, "thermo compensated" has been removed leaving "powered by the superb ETA movement", which sounds a bit odd. At least its accurate though.

Kip,

The only problem now is that they just changed the face description for all of the C5Q's to galvanic rather than just the silver cased ones I identified. If the website photo's are to be believed then the silver cases have the galvanic face & the gold cases have the precision etched 2 piece dials, so the original description didn't need changing for the C5-Q-GWT & C5-Q-GWK.

If however, all C5Q's have the new galvanic faces, then they need to update the pictures of the two stated above.

OK, another error on the website is "silicon straps"

Should be "silicone straps"

That's been driving me crazy for a few years now.

There are some watches where the price is showing the non-EC amount rather than the UK price when you use the drop down list to select the model rather than view all - C50, C5 quartz, C11 auto just a few examples...
CW: C60 FLE Blue #009
Non-CW: Rolex Sub ND, Panerai PAM 312, Grand Seiko SBGM027, Omega AT, Omega PO, Heuer Monza, Maurice Lacroix Pontos S, San Martin 62MAS, HIMQ Marinemaster.
