Try your wife as the main driver and you as the named driver it has worked before for some of my mates and get a alarm on it as some insurance companies offer big savings for well belled car's !
I think Sheila's Wheels is the company he needs ;)

Seriously, I used e-sure. They seems pretty competitive for an old bloke with a Volvo.

Just a suggestion, Sky insurance..they cater mainly, for performance cars but I have used them in the past and had fairly competitive quotes

MX5's are a lovely car.
My choice is MINI's though ;)
Great FUN and great network of parts and clubs.
Also excellent for modifying ;)

I'd feel bad for you, except that it's -26 C here today, and the Miata isn't coming out for another 3 months or so.

I have the original Mini nicely modified and also a 2002 MINI Cooper S, the proper supercharged version which is also modified :)

ahem......

I would like to point out that this thread is about James's predilection for a Japanese sports car and not my Italian, top of the range, scooter.

This scooter by the way would beat the pants off of most cars, across any urban conurbation.

Sorry James, do carry on.
