New C700 Bracelet, pictures and comments
The bracelet is just what I had thought and hoped it would be...High Quality and most of all SOLID! If you're use to relatively cheap watches and even not so cheap, you would not find them with bracelets as nice as this. The links are "Dead Solid", well finished, rounded and polished and again, I mean solid. Not hollowed, roll pined, smashed and sandwiched then polished to make it look solid. Even the removable links to this bracelet are totally solid. Seeing it and knowing that it is solid, you feel like you've finally got something truly real.
The bracelet compared to the strap feels way more comfortable. It's feels so smooth and contours to every part of your wrist but I'm no a stranger to the feel. Most of my watches had bracelets. The difference is; this one doesn't pinch or grab arm-hair, yanking it out by the root. I like to wear them loose so they can slide and shift a bit. It feels more like a bracelet when they are loose.
The bracelet gives pretty good balance to the weight of the 700 and the two together feels like pound. Definitely heavier than the strap. You know it's on your wrist. It is one super hunk of a watch with a Valjoux 7750 Hemi, turbo charged with dual exhaust.

now IMHO that bracelet looks 100x better on that watch than any other CW
even on the C60, the way the polished centre links meet the case edge seems wrong.
but on the C700 they meet a polished bezel, and it looks perfect. Marriage made in heaven.
Almost tempted by a C700 now

I'm getting better at posting photos so if you want more, let me know. Thanks for compliment. I'm more than pleased with the bracelet. Aside from it's great looks with this particular watch, it feels so much better. I noticed that difference right off. It is truly comfortable. It slides so smoothly on my wrist and that because the links are so smooth.Kip wrote:Looks great Russ...but I knew it would. Congrats again!

Re: New C700 Bracelet, pictures and comments
Well I have to say, because I didn't mention it before, the shoulders are beautifully mitered to the case. It's definitely a custom fit bracelet and almost seem like and extension of the case itself. The outer links are soft brushed and only subdued compared to the polished links so the two tone is quite subtle and looks great. I wasn't sure I was going to like the brushed out links but now I see it gives just enough contrast to accentuate the links, making them stand out. Gives it just the right character, I think. The bracelet is simply top notch and only lends to the overall quality of the C700. I like contemporary style watches and for a chronograph, this is the ultimate beauty. To me it has an expensive looking simplistic style to it, not overdone. The silver, black and a few dark grey tones due to it's unique carbon fiber face, this is about as contemporary as it gets but in a package that looks smart, sporty and eloquent all at the same time. It must make Tag H. somewhat jealous.shrink wrote:now IMHO that bracelet looks 100x better on that watch than any other CW

So, you quite like your new bracelet then.
No more Quartz (except when I cannot resist).

You mean the black strap? No, not really. It's very nice to and I may change back after a while but not for a long while yet. Nothing beats this bracelet though. It's really that nice with this one watch. I can say about other CW watches using this bracelet but I think the whole concept of this one bracelet was desinged for the 700 because the match is too perfect.scooter wrote:Looks very nice Russ.
