2011 C9 FLE on Grey Toshi

Post by Peteo »

My first Toshi strap came in the mail yesterday (and I didn't even have to sign for the international delivery  ). It was destined for my C9 FLE, and I like it a lot. I wanted to go for something a little different than black on red but not too different. As I suspected, it looks like the watch works with a slightly more textured and substantial strap. I'm happy with how it looks. Will definitely be ordering from Rich again although I suspect my next strap will probably be from Bas and Lokes just to give them a try.

Here are a few pics. Sadly, the color from my iPhone doesn't convey that the strap is actually slate grey and not black. Edit: More pics added.

I agree, the texture is good and gives a bit more lift. Nice one Peteo.

So now that I'm home, I realize that it's not my iPhone that doesn't capture the grey, it's my crappy work monitor. I should have known.

Very nice strap there! That combination really works well with the watch and you can't go wrong with a Toshi.

I like the extra thick leather on my Toshi. I like to put on my Toshi and head over to Blimpy Burger for a quad, then wash it down with a milkshake. Thank you cows.

Looks great Peteo, even if I'm not a great fan of Toshi straps. That particular combo seems to work. :)

I do think that the thickness of the Toshi straps really go well and fit the C9 models perfectly. I think the CW straps at 20mm are not substantial enough for the C9 case. The Toshi straps do it justice. I have 2 Toshi straps myself specifically ordered for my C9 GMT. I have a black (on the watch now) and the same slate grey but with Black stitching.

Agreed, dp. I am still very happy with the decision. It feels and looks great.
