I long fancied a Steinhart Military or Triton, but held off waiting to see this first.

What odds this sells out very quickly.

An influence?

Mixed with a bit of their own.

I must admit the first thing I thought of when I saw the watch was Bremont.

I was racking my brains thinking of where I had seen that style before and was torn between Bremont and Stowa. Then my glass of wine called my name and I lost the thread!

I still like it though. I am still peeved that the Black Sea didn't get released as a main stream watch.

Meh.
It looks like a cross between a military and a diver with an awful (and strange) minute track round the outside.
And it'll be about 45 metres across...
Think I'll pass*.

*It will sell out in three minutes.

Again Meh,

Bezel is ok but very Stowa, dial is extremely dull. case looks fine but bezel might be hard to turn with slippery fingers. Whole thing looks uninspiring but well built. Worth it if its your first foray into divers.
I miss all the great things that may never be.

The original prototypes with blue highlights were even more Bremont-alike. Personally, I like this revision especially since I don't have any divers watches at the moment.

I like the blue lume, but that's about all.
No more Quartz (except when I cannot resist).

I like the dial. I think it has a good looking contemporary look to it. I dislike the bezel, though. I think it would look much better with a simple design such as that on the Superocean. Then again what do I know?! I'll certainly be keeping my eyes peeled on the Steinhart website and will be sorely tempted providing it's not larger than 42mm.
