I have just pulled...

Post by Amor Vincit Omnia »

...the trigger, that is. On a NN C5 Auto GWT :D :D :D

There were a few things I was looking at, both new and vintage, but they can wait - this was just too tempting! Pics, obviously, to follow when it arrives. 8)

Lovely watch. I would buy it in an instant if it had a decorated movement (currently going for my second-favourite C5 on ebay, the silver / steel option!).

I am only 70% jealous. Maybe 75%.

How about a C50 Mortis. The rotor is decorated and the blued steel screws look good. The champagne dial is addictive and I haven't been able to take mine off for the past three weeks leaving the 2011 FLE forlorn. I hope there are some variations to come as the 39mm case lends itself to further development.

I do like the C50 but I think I prefer the round date window on the C5. And I really want the nicer movement (I have a couple of decorated and a couple of "blued-screw" movements and I much prefer the former in the exhibition windowed models). But then that C50 dial is lovely...
