Awesome wheels on the 928, in fact awesome car. The 928 is the better looking car then the 911, imho.

It definitely is, in my mind. I am paying for a 944 Turbo at the moment, but my first Porsche love was the 928. I almost bought one but it broke down on the way home. Oh well, I'm only 17.

my favorite car must be the 645i from BMW
still, I started where I should have with a 118d from the same BMW...I must be in love with the name... 125Hp must be enough for the 1,3 tons....

cheers

C'mon guys.

Its got to be an Aston. DB9, or DB7 at a push. Then again, if I had to actually drive (and feed) it, it'd be something more along the lines of our current steed. A trusty, if snub nosed AUDI A2.

Great bit of engineering, and I don't ever have to lift the bonnet ;)

Toyota Hilux - the indestructible car.

Having said that, I drive an Avensis, which is a lot more carefree than anything from Europe, and every bit as smooth. It doesn't help much to cure badge envy, but when you get into a certain mindset, you couldn't care less ;-)

Peter,

Please don't think I'm making an Amsterdam joke, but do I take it you get Top Gear in the Netherlands? ;)

I already knew they were indestructible, but what they did to it exceeded my expectations.

Isn't an Audi A4 merely a cramped version of the Skoda Suberb with a higher price tag? ;-) ;-)

Absolutely has to be the Porsche 911. The impact bumper models from 74-89 in paticular. Thats not to say I dont like some of the later models... or indeed some of the earlier ones. I'm not fussed on either the 924 or 928, but I would certainly entertain ownership of a 944 or 968. However, for me, the rear engined 911 can't be touched!

Here is a photo of my 1976 Porsche -

I also really like VWs (aircooled & watercooled), and I've owned a couple of 1970s bay-window buses as well as a Mk2 GTi and a Mk4 GTi Turbo.

Great Porsche!

I like most the Porsche from the 80's (as shown on the photo before).
