Hi RichT. Take a look here... http://www.christopherwardforum.com/viewforum.php?f=57

Basically, we have selected the (first?) FLE's for 2012. It will be version of the Trident C60, and there will be 50 available in blue dial/blue bezel and 50 in red dial/aluminium bezel.

Reservations will start soon!! :)

Thanks for posting this Alex, it finally puts paid to the debate which raged during the FLE process. Any colour face appears to be ok for a dive watch, just as long as the hands provide the highest level of contrast. So out of the red and blue, it is possible that the blue may edge it but as both dials will appear black at depth, the white hands will provide sufficiently high contrast for the time to be legible.

Hi Downer

Wow !!! thanks for that must have totally missed all this by only looking at certain bits of the Forum
Well not many places allow members to have as much input on design as this to final product
Think the Blue and Red both look pretty cool prefer the red by a feather
The Trident is a nice watch and face wise not unlike my Movado 800 series Dive Watch ( there is something about the black wave patterned faces)

On a side note for the dive theme i just bought a new Orange Quartz C6 in sale few weeks back which i had waited for long time
Sadly the second hand wasn't aligned correctly (even allowing for the convex glass)
However after Simon at CW examined and confirmed (excellent customer service again) i will shortly be receiving the blue version which has been checked for better alignment
This is fine as it was always a close call between the two colours anyhow for me

CW certainly does some great dive pieces and you never know if the Trident FLE comes out after Christmas maybe i will be able to justify a late prezzy !!!
Well thats the theory

It will be a case of reserving a watch (and selecting a favourite serial number) in the next few weeks, and then forcing ourselves to be patient until 2012 to pay for and receive the watches. I imagine (although I don't know) that it would be Feb/March at the earliest...

A quick trip to the FLE section would have answered this for you but for expediency sake, Kip advised the current retails as

C60-TRI-SKSI - 335 GBP (non EC 279.17 GBP)
C60-TRI-SKK - 335 GBP (non EC 279.17 GBP)
C60-TRI-SKS - 375 GBP (non EC 312.50 GBP) This will be with the new bracelet for FLE

Hope that helps. 8)

Kip wrote:The best part is that the final product will be at current retail prices as shown on the website for the strap/ bracelet you choose. Chris will absorb any price increases and production costs for the FLE changes we make within the guidelines.

CWL shall retain right of refusal for technical or financial reasons.

Current retails on June 19,2011

C60-TRI-SKSI - 335 GBP (non EC 279.17 GBP)
C60-TRI-SKK - 335 GBP (non EC 279.17 GBP)
C60-TRI-SKS - 375 GBP (non EC 312.50 GBP) This will be with the new bracelet for FLE
Pretty tasty!
