While not liking the jubilee like bracelet much, that updated Seawolf looks mighty fine!

Not a fan of Jubilee bracelets either, but they do look good on leather. And the Sea Dragon has a certain something. 8)

Did it say the size for the divers or did I miss it? I like these at 40mm and below, above that and they've lost me. I prefer the Bulova precisionists out of all the retro dive watches that have come out since Basel but these may come in second place.

Congratulations to Fossil for not ruining these.
I miss all the great things that may never be.

I like that Sea Wolf. Wonder when they'll be out.

The Seawolf looks nice but doesn't go well with the jubilee bracelet, any of the other bracelets should look better. I think the bezel markers could be filled or painted with black to be more legible too. All the other retro case designs are really getting popular again.

I'm surprised about the Fossil ownership, I would have expected fossil to have a good range of Auto watches, having the facilities.

No different to Swatch owning Omega surely.

i'm a much bigger fan of the triangle hands than the shovel hands on the sea wolf. i wish they'd put the acrylic bezel on the triangle hands version.

the markers on the vintage metal bezels look darker, but i don't know if that's just aging or it was originally designed that way. i prefer the darkened markers.

size is 39mm (W&W mentioned it on the february post where they first let the cat out of the bag).
The Heritage Sea Wolf will measure 39mm wide, and feature an in-house Swiss automatic caliber STP1-11 movement. It will be rated to 10ATM, with stainless steel case and bracelet, AR coated sapphire crystal front and back (!), with Superluminova C3 on the indices and hands. It will be priced at $1095 on the bracelet. They even mentioned to me that the available bracelet will have “some stretch” in it, a great homage to the original stretch oyster bracelet. This is one watch I’ll be looking forward to!

Interesting writeup. Especially this: "and feature Fossil’s in-house automatic movement, the STP 1-11. " Fossil has an in-house movement? Well colour me impressed.
The Astrographic is definitely not my thing, but it is still very cool, and a great way to re-launch the brand. I quite like the Sea Dragon, and am looking forward to seeing the various colour combinations. As for Sea Wolf, I see some hits and misses here. The stainless bezel does nothing for me. I'll take a triangle hands and markers, no-date, with a sapphire? bezel. This one is almost there:

*Edit*
I just headed over to the Zodiac website, and they are selling refurbished vintage watches. Prices seem reasonable to boot. Seawolf for $645, Aerospace GMT for $600. Unfortunately both sold already.

ok prices because of the 90 day warranty. the one that i thought was a really good price was the triple date moon phase. the downside to all of them was that all of the dials look repainted.

i wish they'd left the "seawolf" on the dial.

I really like that white dial on steel bezel, I agree with the author that a no date would look better but then it always does

Great comparison picture Kip

I like the Seawolf , but agree about the bracelet , date and the fact they haven't included Seawolf on the dial .But despite this I think they will sell very well . 8)
