you might like this...
Re: you might like this...
I VERY rarely wear a dinner suit, so for me that's a yes! (yet more bad news for my bank balance!)
looks to be a similar case to my B-Uhr steiny, and thats fine by me!

nice capturing of the blued hands, they are a bugger to catch in a piccie!downer wrote:I doubt you will regret it.highway61 wrote:I VERY rarely wear a dinner suit, so for me that's a yes! (yet more bad news for my bank balance!)

Cheers. My next trick will be capturing the blued hands without the shadow on the dial!highway61 wrote: nice capturing of the blued hands, they are a bugger to catch in a piccie!

Someone else could probably photoshop them out.... but I haven't quite got that far with it. I have to rely on trying to get a decent picture out of the camera!highway61 wrote:you could probably photshop them out

I would agree with downer that you could wear it with a suit - and I will. Although the strap is thick and the case is large (and thick!), the clean dial, seconds at six and the style of the strap all contribute to a dressy enough look.
I wouldn't wear it with a DJ, but then I use a pocket watch and don't wear a wrist watch on such occasions.

Now I think I will wear my Nomos with my DJ - seems a nice match and I don't wear a waist coat with mine.Mortis wrote:I would agree with downer that you could wear it with a suit - and I will. Bond is now a bit like Doctor Who, each generation has their own one.Robin CB wrote: No no NO! Bond should always wear a Rolex!
So who's your Bond, the original Rolex version up to The Living Daylights or the Omega version from Goldeneye onwards?

Re: you might like this...
I reckon Bond is one character in fiction where the film version has completely superseded the literary original. As for which Bond, now I know we are watch lovers but we really can't judge this by the watch worn!
My personal favourites are Connery (of course) and Brosnan, and despite the amount of acclaim he has garnered in the role
I cannot stand Daniel Craig's version!!
