Oh boy am I in trouble.
Bonny. How could you? Just from seeing the pictures? You probably bought the same watch on eBay that I was looking at and considering buying after seeing the pics.   Mind you I had seen the watch in the shop windows as well before. Just was not sure how much I would wear it. Lovely as it is.

Hi Rick,

I'm looking at buying the same watch as you the Dreyfuss 1925 with the copper rose/salmon pink face.
Now that you've owned the watch for a while do think it was worth the purchase? does it keep good time?

I'm hesitating at the moment as I cant find much info on the Dreyfuss watches or any reviews. Also its seems that many of the Dreyfuss watches are on sale on the on-line watch shops I have looked at, which worries me a little.

do you think its worth getting for 300 pounds?

thanks

Dave

Nice pick-up Rick. I love the colour of the dial and the hands and the crown detail. It is certainly a wee bit different and will no doubt draw quite a few comments. I came close to bidding for a black dial version of yours on a bracelet a while ago but didn't go for it as I set my sights on an explorer 1 type of watch.

Was looking at these last night and was surprised how many are quartz. As you know, I'm not averse to quartz (got enough ain't I  ) but I thought there's be more autos. Or was I just on the wrong site?

I'd say they about 60 - 40 % Autos to quartz.
Still I cannot find one review about the mechanisms they use or quality of their watches :(

I'm unsure if i should get one or not. Can any Drefuss owners on this forum let me know if they are happy with theirs?

Thanks

I wanted and so handled a 53 chrono, i was unimpressed by the build quality for the price so turned it down - Is a nice looking watch though.
I miss all the great things that may never be.
