I'm always interested in what new watchmakers are designing and making hence ordering the Xicorr. Will do a review when it arrives, and it will be a constructive critical appraisal.

Thankyou for the resurrection, your post was from the heart and that's a decent amount of reasons to call it fate if your taken by the looks of the watch like you seem to be.Berkshire Critic wrote:I am an avid watch collector who will only buy a watch if instantly attracted to it. Yes this watch is quirky and has an offset look about it, Rolex my have produced the 'blue print for a dive watch' with their Submariner but Xicorr is definitely testing the convention and why not. My attraction to a watch is not only in its aesthetics but also in its 'story'. Indeed, in the Xicorr Circle Garda 2012 Limited Edition I have found a story. First my family is Polish, second my eldest son has dived in the Italian Lake Garda, third the watch was tested on the 9th September 2012 which would have been my late wife's birthday and last but not least I can't think of a better birthday present for my son.
To update it on my part, I did pre-order one of these around january, production of thhe watch saw some complications I think and so release dates were not determined. I waited 3 months but then my birthday came around and I needed the money for my grand seiko so I cancelled my pre-order.
I still like the watch very much.
A little cheap looking for sure but the price reflects the quality like most watch brands.liammcdowell wrote:I think it's good trying something different, but there's aren't for me, and to be honest I think they look a bit cheap.
I miss all the great things that may never be.

.
I'm sure the quality is OK, but in terms of pure design I think this is pretty poor, it all feels a bit soulless.

Once I receive the watch I will write an honest appraisal - nothing to lose yet everything to gain, love looking at watches.
