Which turtle? A poll.

Post by Wis »

I'm hankering after a Seiko turtle, and I'm curious what you think. Which of these, if any, should I get? Remember that I want to wear it with Nato straps in as many colours as possible!

Good grief, the man with a Reverso collection goes rogue!

Bjorn are you sure you have not been spending too much time in the Sun?

I have tried one on before, liked it, but didn’t buy. I did think though that they wear ok, even though the headline measurements make it seem it would be too big.

I have voted for the 25 - a bit of extra interest on the dial. You could still wear it with a wide range of NATO’s, as it would hardly matter if some didn’t really match. :)

Neil

On balance Turtle or 512 - I would stick with the 512 and put that on a NATO.....

Gone for the 25 was close with the 23 but for me the 25 just edges it.

Went with the 25 as well. Just has more interest going on with the gradient dial and two-tone bezel.

Once you get it on a bright orange NATO you'll realise it's the right choice

23 gets my vote. Let the straps do the talking.

The dial is actually a sunburst grey, which creates a nice contrast to the black bezel and gives it a certain something. 8)

I was/is considering the yellow gold plated one, for a more decadent/1980s/blingy look. But it is perhaps too much and the novelty would wear off rather quickly? Still, why not live a little and damn the torpedoes!

It’s the 23 for me. It’s a definite Nato magnet. Gonna go with anything.

I vote for 23 as well. Black will go with a lot more than the others.

23 and 25 jointly in the lead. Only one for gold. Not feeling very blingy, are we?

+1 for the 23. Sunburst grey/black bezel combo is great
