I too think the LLD is a fantastic watch - its just a shame its too big for me. 39/40mm is my maximum these days.

Congratulations Sir.

Pics are coming, gives me something to do until Final Score comes on!

As for allegations of the hour hand being phallic - perhaps if my phallus had lume on the end of it, my wife would take more notice of it in the evenings too...

Which One Of These Do I Buy Tomorrow?

Post by Boydesian »

I like the LLD a lot, so no disparagement from me. If I didn't have so many divers already, I would certainly get one. Good choice.

PS For what it's worth, I don't think the hour hand looks phallic at all. It looks more like a futuristic trowel to me.

Re: Which One Of These Do I Buy Tomorrow? (With Unboxing)

A full unboxing then - the massive box and two books with it are startling in size! A couple of pics of the watch being worn, a cheeky visit to the local pizza shop, and also the LLD settling into my watch box with top eight watches in my collection... enjoy...

The LLD box is huge. Congrats on completing the watchbox. My favorite in your collection is the Longines Hydroconquest blue, I would happily wear one everyday (if I did not have the BBB).

Im happy with this box for now - a year ago my best watch was an Armani! Since then i discovered proper watches, bought all these, a Seiko and two Makos. Scary to think of the money ive spent though!

Also, buy a Hydroconquest. Theyre great watches. My satisfaction with my Hydroconquest was a big selling point for the LLD and influenced my decision in the end.
