Yes, I have considered this watch. The blue Zürich Blaugold is a stunning watch, but sadly 2 or 3mm too big for my taste. I tried this watch on last year and remember that it was immediately dismissed as an option - by me and the shop assistant that is. Maybe I should get used to wearing bigger watches, because this is the most beautiful dial they offer. But then, it's also twice as much as the small Orion. Maybe the next option would be to wait for the Baselworld. They might introduce new watches or colours. And if the Grey Slimline FLE wins, I don't need the Orion 1989 .Wis wrote:Have you considerer the Zurich Blaugold? I voted other Nomos, and had that in mind. Gorgeous watch.
Which Nomos is it going to be? Bought: Orion 1989

@ atnis The Orion 1989 will only be available in 33mm and 38mm.

I'm throwing a wild card and say no more Nomos. However, I would say try GO 70's Panorama Date. Fr the same region as Nomos & similar lug to lug as ur Grail so should fit fine. Will look big due to square face I assume but wears ok. It's different with auto movement and date complication.

There is, of course, a difference – could you ever imagine Kip giving people the chance to express that opinion in a poll?Serlo wrote:Fair enough, but sadly I am a hopeless case. (If you told Kip that he has already got enough CWLs, his reaction could be similar). There is something highly addictive about the watches by Nomos I cannot explain. On their website it even says that two watches should be enough for anyone... Actually this is how my watch collection began. One Nomos, two... that's enough, three... ok, no more watches ... four. We all know how this works. But yes, I included this option and appreciate your opinion. However, if you add up all the ones who vote for a Nomos, it's more than eightscooter wrote:Since you've included it as a voting option I've gone with the clear majority (at this moment in time) and suggested that it's time to move on.

I have voted for the Atlantik, as I think it's a great looking watch, though my favourite Nomos would probably be the Weltzeit.

Neither the Atlantik nor the Metro. I have tried both today and although I was very excited when I first saw pictures of the Metro in March, all excitement evaporated the moment I put it on my wrist...

I'm no detective, but I'm guessing it must be the 33mm Orion?

Pictures will follow, but actually I want to leave it in its box until Christmas. The Nomos Orion 1989 is a stunning watch (and a special edition, so I can get the Metro later). The 38mm looked nice on my wrist, but the 33mm version was made for me.
