Re: What's your favourite watch in your collection?
At the moment I would say my favourite is my latest acquisition, which is also my first 4-figure/luxury watch...
However, I love most of my CWLs too, in particular my C60GMT Orange Bezel, C60 Blue scooter and C5 Aviator MkII Cream dial.

C8 mk1
I love this watch more and more, the longer I own it.

My favorite watch is my c6 Kingfisher. It was bought by my wife and re kindled a love of watches. It may be only a quartz but i wear it the most and makes me smile. It is also responsible for finding this group of friendlily ( Until rattled by trolls) knowledgeable people who don't judge on brand prestige or price but on how it looks.
Thank you for welcoming me and a Very merry Christmas to you all.

OP's rule - there's been some rotten cheating on some posts!Ceegee wrote:I know some will say it's difficult to single out just one watch from their extensive collections but the rules are "There can be only one!"
That last point is really important. I call it "Happiness Factor" and it has certainly affected what I have kept, what I have sold on, what gets worn a lot and what doesn't!Alex r wrote:My favorite watch is my c6 Kingfisher. Couldn't agree more. For a long time my favourite watch in a slowly growing collection was a Fossil quartz jobby that had huge sentimental value. I've really enjoyed reading the posts and seeing some great choices.Amor Vincit Omnia wrote:That last point is really important. Right now - probably my C5 Mk 1, which is sitting wrapped up under the tree.
I ordered it just in time as they are now no longer available

The 'Happiness Factor' is defiantly a big one for me as well and does include a quartz my wife bought me years ago (Junghans Mega) but right now, like Moriarty mine is under the tree too ...........my first CW, a Makaira.

It has to be my Aqua Terra for two reasons, firstly I simply love it for the thing of beauty that it is, and secondly it was my 40th birthday present from my Mum and it was the last present that she was able to have any significant involvement in choosing for me before her dementia progressed too far. The poor soul is still with me thankfully, but she is now only a shadow of her former self. I often get a lump in my throat when I look at the watch. It will, without doubt, stay with me forever.

My favourite and for a short time i tried for this to be my only watch...... That idea lasted a few months and im now back to 4 watches and a couple more to arrive in the next few months. The PO for me is the king tho and will be my No 1 for a very long time.

Whilst i constantly have to trick the Ball Stormchaser, Eterna Heritage Pulsometer, Nomos Club and Tag Heuer AR 500m into thinking they are number one, there really can be only one king of the box.....

To list my favorite watch is almost impossible but I will give it a try, under the premise that the choice is based on favoritism instead of importance, I will go with the JLC

I can see what appeals to you in that watch but every time I look at it I try to redesign it in my minds eye to avoid obscuring so many digits and utilising the blank areas!

I hear you Robin, the dial layout can be different and improved, or JLC did that on purpose so you will never stop buying from them (for perfection sake). In the ideal world I would want to add maybe a Duo or Taille into my collection, fingers xx
