I am still after a blue Patrick, I just saw the black one in my local town and thought I will try it on and it looked good. The only blue version I have seen of this version was on the internet and it is in London.

Now I have an idea I can try a blue in house version on in Goldsmiths.

It has all the paperwork and NATO strap

I tried it on and it was very comfortable and a very solid watch, built like a tank.

That being the rare eta version (unless I have my assumptions wrong) I would say that is a decent price and this will be the one to go up in value due to the low numbers out there.
can anyone else confirm my thoughts...?
Cheers now, Paul

Agreed, that might be wishful thinking on my part as I have this model but I have heard that theory a few times and prices do seem to be on the rise.

Hopefully not wishful thinking Patrick, as I have one as well! :)

I have even reached the stage with mine, which is still mint condition, that it's sort of been moved to my very rarely worn, don't risk any damage pile!

ETA for me. Most of the reasons have already been listed. I tried the in house against the ETA a couple of times locally and the lower profile and flat back of the case were the main factors. I also prefer the rose and smiley face text.
Took me some time to hunt down a NIB ETA with warranty but I finally did.
I really wanted the S&G but it just sat too high on my wrist.

No I still think it's a great watch. It's just that when I want to wear a smart dive watch on bracelet, I tend to wear my SubC. I keep the BBN on a vintage strap and generally wear watches with straps less than bracelets.

I am certainly not put off by what are often described as the 'slab' sides of the BBN. It sits flat to the wrist and in my view wears a NATO better than watches with a prominent case back.

Purchased the Black Bay Blue today with in house movement. I’ll take some photos tomorrow.

Whichever you choose, Steveo does a strap which will fit the Tudor deployant clasp.
