The best looking new model at basel for me was the latest PP Calatrava, seriously stunning:

As for brands, Omega seemed to have the best line up of new models on show.

Edit: and at more down to earth prices (lol) this Bell And Ross looks pretty sweet:

It would be 2 watches atm, still need to check what's popping up as a release.

1 - is the someday obtainable Dark Side of The Moon Speedmaster. Hope the buttons and bezel are not too shinning in real life but loved the watch even so.

2 - The Harry Winston OPUX XIII, i was blown away with the movement..

OK, that's crazy, but it actually makes some sense! :)

I like it, in contrast with Opus 12, which I thought was ugly, visually unbalanced, and difficult to read.

Ok I've changed my mind already (more models have come to light), I'm going for this Breitling GMT shown at the top of the page

http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.php?2 ... from-Basel

Any ideas what model this is? I have been seriously thinking about aquiring another Breity for a little while now (can't this year tho, got me first mortgage to sort out :( ), my super ocean rubber bezel was a superb watch but not the right one for me. This one may not be anything super special but even though I love gmt's, most of them seem to have something wrong with them design wise (except the rollies obviously) but this looks spot on (if you can stand the flying B style.

Agreed, best new models I've seen so far. Especially the square case panda(ish) chrono!

No pic but the new GMT Master with the Blue/Black bezel is a beauty.

I like Tudor's new models* the most. Most brands' new line ups didn't really appeal to me.

Some fascinating watches as always this year.

This has attracted me the most. A thin moonphase.
