not for me & more than I would shell out on a quartz. For that kind of style have a look at Citizen Stiletto series.

Doesn't do a lot for me either. I prefer watches without date windows, but the absence of seconds and in particular indices is just too minimalist for me!

Although, I confess, I do like the look of the classic museum dial....I would not touch them. IMO...overpriced, in general poorly made for what they are and the bracelets are crap. Now if you can find a vintage mechanical Movado...different animal.

i was never impressed by Movado. truth is, if you really love the watch, try to find it on sale.

I think the museum dial is quite classy, and if CW were to make one, I'd seriously consider getting it. Movado was the first line that I looked at when I first started buying watches, but I never actually bought one, and I'm glad I didn't. They're definitely overpriced compared to CW and other like-brands. You can find better watches elsewhere, IMO. If you want a minimalist dial, there are options that will get you there (maybe not quite so minimalist as Movado, but close) with better quality.

It is very minimalist. But I think that you will find that there is little love for brands like Movado on most watch forums as they are considered more a fashion brand.

I think it's a classic design; clean and classy - but I wouldn't wear one - I'm far too rough, tough and rugged.
