Not a Bond fan nor a Bond watch fan at all, but that is one heck of a nice looking watch.

A great watch, which I thought I may not like due to the vintage lume, but this is so nice, I've changed my tune.

Ah yes, lovely watch  and the first automatic movement Omega Seamaster Professional Chronometer as worn by Pierce Brosnan.
I had that one along with the following at one point.
Omega Seamaster 300M Quartz 2541.80.00
Omega Seamaster '007 40th Anniversary Edition', 2537.80.00
Omega Seamaster '007 Collectors Piece', 212.30.41.20.01.001
Omega Seamaster '007 50th Anniversary Collectors Edition', 212.30.41.20.01.005

This is one of the only 007 LEs I've liked. Take away the Bond link and it's just a great looking watch with great spec. I bet it feels like wearing nothing on the wrist :)

Congratulations on a tidy pick up

Yes indeed. Great pickup, Nigel.
Did I see somewhere that Daniel Craig had some input into how this one comes to be as it is?
Drop him an email, I'm sure he'll respond :)

Same for me. I have a funny relationship with vintage lume. Normally I don’t like, my C65 Trident Vintage being an unexplainable exception. And now this Omega is an additional exception to the rule. The lume looks fantastic, especially with that NATO.

I’d be interested to know if you have the ti bracelet which I have and I find hideously cumbersome albeit very well finished. I was a little disappointed with the Omega packaging too and I feel that the bezel movement feels cheap and ‘plasticky.’ The other thing that spooked me was the heavy discount that I got when I bought mine (£600!) A nice looking watch Nigel, no doubt but mine will not be a ‘keeper.’

Thank you.
He did indeed:
The new Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition has been built with military needs in mind and was even designed with input from Daniel Craig and the 007 producers. Omega remained in close contact with the actor throughout the design process, referring to his special James Bond knowledge to understand the sort of features the watch might require.

Craig’s influence and advice played a big role in the final result. He says, “When working with OMEGA, we decided that a lightweight watch would be key for a military man like 007. I also suggested some vintage touches and colour to give the watch a unique edge. The final piece looks incredible.”

Interesting that you mention the bracelet - there's been a few comments about how uncomfortable it is and even heard of a couple of issues.
When I mentioned this to the AD he actually advised me that there had been very few negatives comments but Omega had released an "updated" version of the bracelet that had apparently cured these issues.
Anyway, for me I broke the rule of "always buy on a bracelet" and went with the NATO.
Besides, if you're "in the field" you wouldn't be wearing a Ti bracelet more like a rubber/silicon or NATO strap (IMO).

Do you know how much a replacement bracelet is?
Over £1200

I've just picked up an identical looking (without the branding) Titanium bracelet for c£110
Plus a leather single pass NATO strap with titanium hardware for c£70.

I have the regular white dialled SMP so I already like these, but the 007 is a great looking version, congratulations Nigel.

I was gobsmacked by the price increase just for the bracelet when I looked online. I think it looks much better on the NATO, or as you mention, a rubber strap. I’ve never particularly cared for the Seamaster bracelets, so that’s $1,200 I’d save off the top!
