Watches from the collection of racing driver Michael Schumacher - Auction May 13th

Post by Bahnstormer_vRS »

Christies are holding their next Rare Watches Auction in Geneve on May 13th which features a number of Watches from the collection of racing driver Michael Schumacher

There are some amazing and evocative pieces up For Sale.

I'd like the AP Royal Oak if anyone has a spare CHF 150,000-250,000 (Estimate) they'd like to donate to my watchfund.

PS> Being an F1 fan, although not a fan of Michael Schumacher per se, I nevertheless got a degree emotional when I first read about this at breakfast time today. A feeling that has come back in posting this just now. :( :(

Wow. Firstly, it’s a shame that the family are parting with some of these watches but I have non doubt that they have their reasons for doing so. The AP in particular, for me, is something that I would never want to be sold if it was mine; the significance of it as a milestone in his career is huge. High guide prices on everything so I’ll be interested to see what the hammer falls at.
