I've been thinking lateley about getting a Vostok Anchar watch

Anyone got one? anyone seen one, best place to get one? etc

Hi, I did have one once gold colour but i did find it kept time ok,and i still own another Vostok Europe K3 Submarine, and not bad lume morso on the one i have,the reason i sold the one you mention is that the fault with both watches is the day/night and date change,its not very quick if you have to catch up twenty odd days, especally that one ,the reason being the crown on it is not very easy to turn for the settings mention (hex shape crown) where as the other K3 has crown more in line with other watches as what i would call (serated crown) which makes it easer but still takes longer, than other day/date change watches.Regarding purchase i would go through Google or others to get and compare prices.Hope this gives you a little insite.

I have found it on one website for £339 which is a very good price but it's out of stock

I really fancied something different and the yellow PVD model has spoken to me

I do like quite a few of their range but think they are overpriced especially when u compare to the likes of CW and Steinhart

Hello again a further reply to your query is that i bought it about 2008 got paperwork for the K3 in loft but bought both within 6mths near enough, bought on TV shopping channel, & with regards to price i found on their web site @ 229 Euro's also if you go on to Watch Sea24 site on page 4 they show same as i had :-article no.148029 234 Euro's
But as Sidders Says at the price you Quote i would also get a Steinhart. or others i like on Gnomon Web Site to name a few
Price wise such as Ollech & Wajs or Aristo

Ans to Jag regarding size my K3 it fits very well on my small wrist similer to my CWL C5

some of the Aristo watches look interesting, wonder if any members know anything about the quality of these watches?

Aristo has got same swiss movement as CWL but other than that donot Know ,but as you say i do like them but like others at this time money very tight

As Jag said take heed if it need to go back,( 8 weeks approx turn round time ) mind you the chap I delt with was very good at coms via emails and was repaired but needed to be regulated when I got it back....and this took time to do. There not that bad a watch and to be fare I've been wareing mine constantly for 3 weeks with the usual I can get that regulated better.

I have one, I love it, it a very good diver's watch, but big, very big... Mine's come from England (greenwichdistribution.com) and David, the boss of the shop, is very very serious and reliable...

I also can tell you that it shines brightly in the night, evan more than a CWL C600.

I do like big watches so as long as it fits on my wrist the it should be ok! I love my deep blue master and that's 46mm!

I got mine off the bay, so fingers crossed it actually turns up!?

Average, +/- 15s/day... It's a basical Seiko caliber, simple, but far better than the old Russian movements...
