I picked this up today after seeing it about 2 weeks ago and fell instantly in love with it. Forgive me for these pictures, as it is a real nightmare to photograph due to bad lighting and the very high domed crystal.

Here is my vintage IWC schaffhausen 1949 cal. 89 17jewel, manual wind, 18ct gold and beautifully aged champagne dial with 2 hands. 38mm incl almost flush crown which is quite a large watch for this age, 32mm dial, 20mm teardrop lugs. 9mm thick incl crystal. now with a CW 20mm black leather strap.



















Job for tomorrow is to polywatch the crystal and remove 1 or 2 light marks.
