Guy, a lovely looking watch mate, quite a classic chronograph. At 18mm high it makes my personal “behemoth”, the Sawtooth look quite svelte, even though it’s 47+mm - I’m not sure I could get away with that beastie...
Not just a zombie thwacker, perhaps it should be christened “Destroyer of Doorways” as I reckon it could knock a decent sized hole in one if taken at speed.

Cheers though Gary.
I wonder if anyone has ever considered creating a pack of watch 'Top Trumps'? Would your sawtooth override my 18mm height?

Re: Unexpected Incoming
IMO, probably not. I find a tall watch to be more noticeable on someone’s wrist, than a thinner large one. Add the 46mm diameter to the 18mm height and I think the Marathon wins out.

Re: Unexpected Incoming
Thanks Gary - I'd always found bracelets never quite sat right especially when desk diving at work and the short side/long side seems to work well - may have to give up NATO's and resize/refit all my bracelets....gaf1958 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 10:39 pm
Not so unusual Neil, in fact, quite normal. Here’s a post I made describing why (it relates to the positioning of deployant clasps on leather straps, but the principle is unchanged for bracelets. My bracelets are always (where possible) shorter on the 6 o’clock side than on the 12 o’clock side. It’s a matter of human physiology - something that most bracelet resizers have yet to learn. You need to make one side shorter than the other, in order to centre the clasp and the watch head on opposing sides of the wrist.

Can't remember the stats, but my Oris Prodiver is also massive and heavy for a titanium watch.
Current collection incl Citizen, G-Shock, Rolex, Seiko, Sinn & Tag.

Re: Unexpected Incoming
Congratulations, also highlights one of the good things about this forum that we all like different types of watches.
I mean I have an Emporio Armani watch, most on here would hate it but at least they don't frown at it. Like they would on some forums.
Yours is a beast - If they do a remake of 'Zombieland' it's the sort of watch Woody Harrelson would wear!
