Tudor BB58

Post by Thegreyman »

I have just tried on (not for the first time) a BB58 and it was available to buy here and now at RRP.

Very tempted to buy but so far resisting.

Think how nice it would look next to the GMT in the watch box, a lovely pair.

Resistance is futile. Just give in to it.

Thanks guys for enabling! I resisted and the place is closed now, nearly gave in. This was the offending item, very nice thick but comfy leather strap.Image

Well now you have all night to stew about this and tomorrow when they open you can phone for them to hold it till you get there ,which is what I did, and you will then be a very happy camper with a wonderful new watch. Have a great evening Patrick !
Cheers, Mike.

Surprised they kept it long enough to put in the window....

I’m wondering if it might feel small now if you are used to the GMT, but wouldn’t it be great to own the pair?

@Thegreyman - are you thinking of buying it Patrick because you genuinely want to, or because you think you ought to? (we're a wicked bunch of enablers, as you well know).

I can't decide which Guy :problem: (which is probably why I didn't buy it!)

You're right, it was a surprise. Yes it does feel a little small compared to the GMT but small can be good (I'm just a wee guy after all :) )

One last thing to leave you with, Patrick. I have a 7.25 inch wrist and I find I can go from my 58 to my Oris Aquis which as you know is 43.5mm and neither looks out of place.

Sleep tight and do let us know how you got on in the morning.
Cheers, Mike.
