Got one in my 20mm collection. A 22 should be easy to find.

I knew that all along, Paul. Not sure which Mako would go, though – I just wanted to see what ideas came up.

The Mako is a good choice. I regularly wear my blue one. But for years my go to watch for holidays was my Citizen Eco Drive.

Good size at 40mm with fantastic lume and the Eco Drive means never having to worry about a battery letting you down. Easy to tell teh time at a glance although not the date. I used to take it on ski holidays as the chalets never have clocks and it is solid and waterproof on the slopes. But not quite cheap as chips.

A cheap option is a Timex Expedition Indiglo. Light, thin, nice small diameter and just press the crown to get the whole dial glow blue to read the time.

Thanks, Ian. Both of those are certainly worth thinking about.

Seiko SKX? Not dirt cheap but a very good watch.
